The MEE Kats perform 50's style Rockabilly music
covering a mixture of well known and more obscure
songs. Based on a familiar Elvis, Scotty & Bill line up
with the addition of drums on certain tracks, these guys certainly know how to get the place rockin'.
The recent recording of their self penned track
"Call My Name" has received great reviews and has had
airplay on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio Tees. It also has featured on the Steve Stack Of Wax show on
Forest Fm and on Radio Caroline by Dell Richardson.
The line up of the MEE Kats consists of Colin Mee
(also singer with The Skip Rats and Root'n Toot'n),
Mandy Mee (also bass player of Root'n Toot'n) and
Joe Guillan (also guitarist of The Sure Shots and the
SkipRats). |
